The Facebook (Android) App now requires access to
- Reorder running applications
- Retrieve the running applications.
- Directly call phone numbers
Separately the Facebook Messenger App has expanded permissions as well. There are inventories of the differences at least here. The interesting new ones are at least
- Draw over Other apps
- Change Audio Settings
- Take Pictures & Videos (at any time without confirmation)
- Precise Location
- Approximate Location
It’s a ‘Messenger’ App so it has the expected levels of access to the SMS & MMS state.
The Facebook Home App is as-yet (officially) incompatible with all but a few just-now-shipping devices.
